BREAKING:Court decides EL-zakzakys Bail Application Today

The police in Kaduna on Sunday said that they had beefed up security ahead of today’s ruling  of the application filed by the embattled leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky. justice  Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court will  rule on the application  filed by  El-Zakzaky, who is seeking  permission to travel abroad for medical treatment. The bail hearing comes barely three days after a Federal High Court in Abuja granted the Federal Government the power to proscribe the Shi’ittes’ organisation The Shi’ittes’ protests in Abuja had been  violent. BREAKING: Benue state Govt Evacuates Tiv Indegenes in Taraba Uni Over Tiv/jukun crises

The Benue State Government announced on Wednesday that it had commenced the evacuation of Benue State students at the Federal University, Wukari in Taraba. The evacuation followed the closure of the university after the alleged killing of two Benue students in the institution on July 30 by people suspected to be members of the Jukun militia. reports shows that hundreds of people have been killed over the years in recurring communal clashes between ethnic Jukun and Tivs in the agricultural belt of Northern Nigeria  The bloody conflict has taken its toll on the two ethnic groups with many lives lost and property estimated at millions of naira destroyed. BREAKING: Police Arrest Teacher for Raping Student in Biology Laboratory

The police in Lagos have arrested a 28-year-old teacher, Idowu Daniel, at a private school in the Abule-Egba area of the state for allegedly having sex with a female pupil in his care. Daniel, who teaches computer science at Anatasia Comprehensive College, reportedly raped the 17-year-old pupil inside the school’s biology laboratory.  City Round learnt that Daniel had asked the pupil to bring her computer science note to him at the laboratory for marking. On getting there, the teacher reportedly made overtures to her and fondled her breasts. She was said to have resisted the advances and left. The following day, Friday, June 28, 2019, Daniel was said to have sent for the pupil again, asking her to come to the laboratory with her note. He reportedly shut the door and forcefully had sex with her. BREAKING: Federal govt declares SHIITES movement as terrorist group in NIGERIA

The Federal Government has obtained a court order to proscribe the  Shiites’ organisation formally referred to as the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. The Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday ordered the proscription of the Shiites’ movement as protests by the Islamic organisation rock Abuja. it was reported that Justice Nkeonye Maha issued the order in a ruling in which  she also designated the activities of the Shiite organisation in any part of Nigeria “as acts of terrorism and illegality.” The court restrained “any person or group of persons” from participating in any form of activities involving or concerning the IMN “under any name or platform” in Nigeria.
